Variants
However varied bikes are today, the SPEEDHUB fits almost any frame. The base is the SPEEDHUB 500/14 with a 135 mm dropout width and a threaded (TS) or quick-release (CC) axle; the wider, 12 mm thru-axle and fat-bike variants build on it. The logic of the building blocks is explained in Modular system.

Frequently asked questions
- How do I know which Rohloff type (quick-release, bolt-on axle or A12) I need?
- It depends on the design of your frame's rear dropouts. During the check we establish whether your hub needs to suit traditional 10 mm dropouts or a modern 12 mm thru-axle (A12) system, and we order the exactly fitting version and the right adapters (OEM, OEM2, PM) for the conversion from Massive Corporation Kft.'s stock.
